Have an accountability group
By sharing our goals with a group of people we trust, we’re more likely to get the work done. It’s a form of group-coaching.
You’re the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with
That’s one of the key ideas of the legendary thinker, Jim Rohn. He was spot on. We can change our lives by changing who we spend time with. But we live in a cluttered world that makes it impossible to connect with others. As a result, we have to deal with these challenges:
1. Information overload: Do we really need more information? Do we really need another news source? There’s no lack of information on the internet. But more information does not help us, it only overwhelms us.
2. Lack of deep connections: Most of our connections only scratch the surface. That’s fine. But if you want more depth, you’re left by yourself. The internet is an endlessly big place that makes it impossible to connect with like-minded people.
By joining The Sounding Board community, you can learn, exchange ideas, and actually connect with other people just like you. People who’re curious, share their knowledge openly, and create things in life.

Hey, I’m Ignacio. I help professionals and businesses boost their impact and effectiveness through Executive Coaching processes, training activities, and keynote presentations.
I joined The Sounding Board attracted by its supportive and open-minded approach to learning. What have I found in it? An international community where openness stands above anything else. Can’t think of a better online environment to advance both my personal development and professional projects. You might have heard it before: “If you want to go quickly, go alone. If you want to go far, go together”. That’s what this place is all about.
Hi, I’m Sonia! For a living, I am a real estate broker and an AirBnB owner. I live just outside Nashville. As a people collector and encourager, it’s imperative to my mental and spiritual well-being to be on alert for ways to help others think better of themselves.
That line of thinking has led me to want to be in ministry. At this time, I’m exploring what that might look like. I joined the Sounding Board because I am constantly desiring to learn. After reading Darius’ invitation, I knew I would find what I have; a variety of business and artistic personalities to learn from!
Hey there, I’m Simon! I’m 39 and based in the U.K. I’ve worn many hats throughout life, but I am currently a Management Consultant, specialising in the setting up and development of therapeutic residential homes for vulnerable young people.
I have always been a keen advocate of self-development, as well as peer to peer mentoring. But even in our interconnected world and times, I have struggled to find a platform where honest, like-minded people can come together to collectively succeed and make a difference to both their own, and others lives. The Sounding Board has arrived and I finally have the outlet to support my growth.
Darius has created something truly unique and special here, which I am grateful to be a part of.
Hola, I’m María José, I help companies communicate in Spanish, providing translation, content-generation, and creative strategy.
So they can navigate and relate in a more effective way to the Latin American market in the U.S and worldwide.
The Sounding Board is a wonderful community that has allowed me to share my ideas with kind, brilliant and curious people, that are willing to support every journey. I came for motivation and stayed for the meaningful connections.
Hey there, I’m Ivan. I’m a Digital Nomad, Project Manager, Composer and I just recently finished writing my first book!
It can get lonely when you work remotely for the past several years like I have, so joining the Sounding Board community was a no-brainer.
I was happy to find that the community welcomes like-minded people from all walks of life. Within the very first few days, I talked and connected with people based on shared interests in fitness, music, writing, health, video, entrepreneurship and much more. We’re growing by the day and it’s encouraging to be in an environment where you’re just free to be yourself.
What is a sounding board?
